2025 Korea-Egypt Economic Cooperation Seminar
On Wednesday, April 23rd, the Korea-Africa Foundation, in collaboration with the Embassy of Egypt in Korea and the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), hosted the 2025 Korea-Egypt Economic Cooperation Seminar under the theme "Economic Cooperation in the Era of Digital and Green Transformation". The event took place in the grand conference room on the 51st floor of the Trade Tower.
The seminar was organized to mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Egypt and to provide a platform for strengthening strategic partnerships in the fields of digital transformation and green energy.
The event featured two sessions, "Session 1: Digital Egypt: Pioneering Achievements and Strategic Implications for the Digital Economy" and "Session 2: Advancing the Green Hub Vision of Egypt through Korea-Egypt Cooperation"
Distinguished participants included Amb. Khaled Abdelrahman, Ambassador of Egypt to the Republic of Korea, Mr. Seokmin Chang, Executive Vice President of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), Amb. Kwon Pyung-Oh, Former Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
The seminar was also attended by scholars, experts from relevant institutions, and business leaders, highlighting the growing momentum in Korea-Egypt economic collaboration.
