The 7th Africa Film Festival, hosted by the Korea-Africa Foundation, successfully opened on Tuesday, May 27, at the Busan Cinema Center. The opening ceremony was graced by various distinguished guests, including members of the African Group of Ambassadors in Korea (AGA), officials from the Busan Metropolitan City Government, and figures from the film industry. This year’s opening film in Busan was Binti, a Tanzanian work. The film’s director visited Korea and delivered a congratulatory address, officially marking the beginning of the festival. Following the opening ceremony, the opening film was screened. A 'Guest Visit (GV)' session with the director was held afterward, offering in-depth discussions about the film and demonstrating the festival’s commitment to cinematic expertise.
