The Korea-Africa Foundation supported the 2025 Joint Academic Conference of the Korean Association of African Studies and the Korean Society of Contemporary European Studies, held on Saturday, June 7, at the Seoul Campus of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.

The conference, held under the theme “Restructuring the World Order in Transition and New Horizons in Africa-Europe Relations,” served as a platform to explore the complex dynamics between Africa and Europe and to seek possibilities for cooperation within a changing international order.

In collaboration with the Korean Association of African Studies, the Korea-Africa Foundation has contributed to the development of the African studies ecosystem in Korea through co-hosting and sponsoring academic conferences, supporting human exchanges. The Foundation will continue its efforts to expand knowledge-based exchanges in the future.
