Korea-Africa Foundation and Saemangeum Development Corporation Sign MOU

On Thursday, June 12, the Korea-Africa Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Saemangeum Development Corporation in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do, to enhance exchange and cooperation with Africa.

Through this MOU, the two organizations agreed to identify and implement practical joint projects in areas of mutual interest, such as supporting market entry for companies in both Africa and the Saemangeum region, fostering an environment for developing key industries, and building networks to promote development projects in African regions.

The Korea-Africa Foundation expects that this agreement will serve as a stepping stone for establishing a sustainable cooperation network between Africa and Jeollabuk-do and will help local governments and public institutions expand their presence and exchanges with Africa in the future.
