2025 Global Market Expansion Program (GMEP) Aging-Tech Local AC Kick-Off Meeting Held in Egypt

On Monday, July 14, the kick-off orientation for the aging-tech sector participants of the 2025 Global Market Expansion Program (GMEP) was held, organized by the local accelerator Plug and Play Egypt.

Plug and Play Cairo is a global accelerator established in collaboration with ITIDA in 2021, with the mission of fostering Egypt as an innovation hub in the MENA region. The organization runs a variety of startup support programs.

During the orientation, representatives from Plug and Play Cairo gave a detailed presentation on the Egyptian startup ecosystem, market environment, and the upcoming local acceleration program.

Afterwards, a luncheon was followed to encourage networking among the participating Korean startups, the Korea-Africa Foundation, and the local accelerators.

The eight selected Korean startups in the aging-tech sector will first complete a domestic pre-program before joining the full acceleration program in Egypt this coming September.
