Executive Board Meeting of the Korean Association of African Studies

On July 28, 2025 (Monday), the Korea-Africa Foundation hosted a meeting with the executive board of the Korean Association of African Studies (President: Hwa-Rim Cho, Director of the France-Africa Research Institute at Jeonbuk National University).

Since signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on December 6, 2019, the Korea-Africa Foundation and the Korean Association of African Studies have continued to collaborate in promoting African studies in Korea and nurturing emerging scholars in the field. During this meeting, the two parties discussed potential areas of cooperation, including the upcoming international academic conference in the second half of the year and strategies to invigorate domestic African research.
