Orientation for the 2025 Korea-Africa Youth Camp

The Korea-Africa Foundation held an orientation for the “2025 Korea-Africa Youth Camp” on Tuesday, August 6.

Twenty middle school students from Jeollanam-do and Chuncheon, Gangwon-do participated, preparing to learn about Africa and Kenya, the host country of this year’s camp.

The program featured a lecture on “Protocol and Global Etiquette” by Mr. Jae-hwan Kwon of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea, a visit to the Kenyan Embassy for a dialogue with Ambassador Emmy Jerono Kipsoi, and a lecture on “Understanding Africa” by Ms. Myung-hee Kim, Executive Vice President of KOTRA.

This orientation helped students appreciate the importance of Korea-Africa exchange and mutual understanding, while fostering their growth as future global citizens. The Foundation will continue to support youth engagement as future leaders of Korea-Africa cooperation.
