On Thursday, August 28, the Korea-Africa Foundation hosted the Korea-Senegal EdTech Partnership Roundtable to provide a networking platform for Korean EdTech startups and Senegalese education sector experts.
The meeting was attended by government officials from the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation of Senegal and professors from the Higher Institutes of Professional Education in Senegal. Representing Korean startups were Lee Eun-seung, CEO of Davida; Kim Ki-ho, CEO of Purpple; and Kim Jae-yoon, CEO of WithinNet. The three companies presented their educational technologies and products, paving the way for their entry into the Senegalese education industry.
The Korea-Africa Foundation is using this meeting as an opportunity to promote cooperation between Korea and Senegal and to explore ways to connect and facilitate exchanges between startups in both countries.
