On Friday, September 26, the Korea-Africa Foundation sponsored the 1st Joint Forum of the Consortium of Korean African Studies Institutes and Related Organizations, held at the Global Campus of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS).
The academic forum, themed “African MZ Generation and African Colority,” featured multiple sessions, including a Joint Session linking government-affiliated institutions and academia, a Consortium Session among domestic African studies institutes, and a Next-Generation Scholars Session showcasing emerging researchers.
In his congratulatory remarks, Mr. Woon-an Gam, Standing Executive Director of the Korea-Africa Foundation, celebrated the selection of the consortium?comprising Busan University of Foreign Studies, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Hallym University, and Jeonbuk National University?for the HK 3.0 (Humanities Korea) Support Program of the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF). He also pledged the Foundation’s continued efforts to promote active exchanges and broader collaboration among domestic African studies institutes.
