2025 Korea-Africa Startup Competition Orientation Held

On November 3rd (Monday), an orientation was held ahead of the local bootcamp for the final selected teams of the 2025 Korea-Africa Startup Competition.

The event was attended by Kim Young-chae, President of the Korea-Africa Foundation and the Kenyan Ambassador to Korea, who listened to the introductions of the participating companies, shared feedback, and offered words of encouragement.

Afterwards, the companies had a virtual meeting with local accelerators, where they received information about the local bootcamp schedule and the overall business environment in Kenya, followed by a Q&A session.

The 11 teams attending the event were selected in July and have received support through group education, capacity-building workshops, company diagnostics, pitching consultations, and pre-mentoring from local experts. They are set to participate in the local bootcamp, which will be held in Kenya from Thursday, November 7th, for about a week.
