Korea-Africa Foundation and KIPRO Sign MOU

The Korea-Africa Foundation (KAF), chaired by Amb. Kim Young-chae, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Institute of Intellectual Property Promotion (KIPRO) on January 23 at the KAF.

On the occasion, Amb. Kim Young-chae met with senior officials of KIPRO to discuss ways to strengthen partnerships with African countries through the effective use of patent information and intellectual property.

Through this agreement, the two institutions agreed to cooperate in ▲patent education for African market entry ▲patent service support for African countries ▲human exchange and joint research to promote the intellectual property sector.

Both organizations plan to continue close cooperation to expand practical collaboration with African partners and promote sustainable development in the field of intellectual property.
