NSU Korea-Africa Smart Farm International Conference Attends

The Korea·Africa Foundation participated in the「NSU Korea-Africa Smart Farm International Conference」, held on January 30, 2026 (Friday), at Namseoul University. The conference was organized to explore opportunities for cooperation between Korea and Africa in the field of smart agriculture and to discuss pathways toward sustainable agricultural development. Experts and stakeholders from Korea and abroad took part in the event.

On this occasion, Mr. Gam Woon-an, Standing Director of the Korea·Africa Foundation, held a courtesy meeting with Professor Yoon Seung-yong, President of Namseoul University, during which they exchanged views on expanding Korea·Africa cooperation across various sectors, including smart agriculture. In addition, in his congratulatory remarks at the conference, Mr. Gam emphasized the importance of smart farming in strengthening food security and promoting sustainable agricultural development in Africa, and expressed the Foundation’s commitment to continuing diverse cooperation initiatives in the smart agriculture sector in collaboration with academia and relevant institutions.
