2026 Korea-Africa Startup Competition Orientation
On July 6 (Mon), the 2026 Korea-Africa Startup Competition Orientation was held for the 13 startups selected as finalists.
Co-hosted by the Korea-Africa Foundation and UNIDO ITPO Korea, the competition aims to identify aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage startups with innovative ideas related to Africa and support their entry into African markets through training, mentoring, and an on-site bootcamp.
The orientation featured an introduction to Africa's startup ecosystem, an overview of the competition program, and networking opportunities for participants, marking the official launch of the competition.
Following the localization capacity-building program, the selected teams will participate in the Africa Bootcamp, which will be held in Cape Town, South Africa, this November.
We look forward to the selected startups taking on new challenges and creating new opportunities in Africa.
